Try exploring a little more instead of jumping straight into holes. I'm not even fighting giant floating eyeballs yet and I'm level 6.

I covered all of the levels except for one, which I had finished about halfway before realizing that the boss was too hard looking and ran away like a coward.
The creatures are randomized.
