Dungeons & Dragons (RolePlay) [Server]
Demian:
I don't think that the majority of the people here will understand that this all happens in the chat and that there are no actual monsters or cool dungeons. Also, chances of you actually running a successful D&D game with random people are just below zero. People will just run around and do stuff. They won't roleplay. I just know it.

This is why you should just have people you know play.

The majority of Blocklanders simply wouldn't grasp most concepts of DnD, not to mention that it's a bitch to get it organized with people you don't know well (especially with people who don't live near you)
It takes a stuffload of preparation to get started, knowledge of the system and how to properly roleplay (lol, roleplay in blockland)

I was skeptical as you were awhile ago, but once I tried it and helped people along, alot of them caught on quick. But most weren't online again, which is why I'm choosing 3 reliable people to play my campaign. I've been hosting my campaign for awhile, and I've gotten through over 7 sessions with the party, so I have no doubts that this will be fun if some people that would really like to play sign up.
Furthermore, The blockland version of D&D I've made is much simpler than 3.5 rules.
Slezak:
I would love to try this and I have some ideas for things you could add to make it more visual (like dungeon maps that you "uncover" for the players by breaking the bricks on top hiding the map) but unfortunately, I am busy all day Wednesday so I would not be able to show up consistently that day. I do hope that, if this does get started, that it works out.
Celtic Wolf:
You also need the cleric. Clerics are more important than rogues because they provide the healing.
