MegaMek / Classic BattleTech http://megamek.sourceforge.net/ It's a offline/online java based version of the Classic BattleTech tabletop RPG/wargame. Supports 2-4 players on the same client (IIRC). You can also print out maps and cutout models and play it IRL, so you could have all your friends play, so you could have like 8 different players, but that would be a clusterforget. There's a RPG version called MechWarrior which is more akin to D&D, but it isn't available for free. http://www.classicbattletech.com/downloads/CBT_Introductory_Rulebook.pdf You might want to check out a GURPS RPG, but I don't know how many are free. |
