So loving intense, this game. But, yeah, Project Reality is better. Probably because of vehicles and such.

I remember this, i played it for a day then quit

Too realistic for you?

Yay realism, I want my guns to jam up from dust every few minutes so I have to field strip and clean them while being shot at by insurgents using more reliable weapons, all while being yelled at by my CO and sitting behind a piece of concrete for 3 hours.

I think the funniest thing about realism simulators like OpFor was all the running you had to do, and how you constantly got killed by shrapnel and ricochets.

Bumping this because I tried the mod after reading this thread.

The game is essentially Red Orchestra. Gameplay is almost exactly the same, even the way you mount guns and move your weapon around. The problem with this mod is poor map/game design. We got caught in a stalemate because the enemy team spawncamped us. We had virtually no cover and only lived for like 5 seconds until I finally killed them entirely by luck blindfiring at the guys leg. The other problem is that there are almost no players. The server owners are, of course, loving friends and fake playercount. The servers with the most legitimate players are eGo servers, which is embarassing, and they only run stupid gamemodes like deathmatch on a stuffty de_dust knockoff. Game would be cool with a bunch of players, but as-is, the most people in a server is around 4, and that's extremely boring.

Addendum: The only OTHER populated server is Russian and it kicks for excessive ping. Awesome.
