It took me about 4 minutes.
Plus making fences for me is difficult because i'm worried about people lagging.

Well then, try simply eliminating distractions (this may be tricky with siblings, but witty, angry comments do that quite nicely).

Most people have good enough computers so they won't lag. If people do lag from that, then it's time they get a new computer.
