Btw, How about you stop posting off-topic messages outside the off topic category?

An actually decent medieval RPG server, with good quests, AI, and with actual roleplaying. No more "hurr durr click 500 times to get 1 copper ore, only to be killed by an admin running about with a purple sword!"

I like gravity cats servers
Just another TDM server with overcomplicated weapons.

IMAGINE THIS, IF YOU WILL

a server governed by the concept of effort, as to make creation that much sweeter and destruction so much more personal

a server that generates randomly a landscape and requires you to physically remove bricks from the landscape to be able to place your own on the same landscape, ala minecraft

CERTAIN bricks allow you to do special things within your bricks. like, for instance, if you dig down and find a box with a big ol' shotgun label, you can place a few shotguns on your bricks. if you find one with a big ol' red cross, you can put a medkit on your bricks. etcetera

if you REALLY feel like being a richard you can take bricks from OTHER people, or just go around and ruin their day. but, the weapons in and of themselves are not powerful: in fact, it still takes a relatively substantial effort to kill someone once with the biggest gun you can possibly find

hosted by me (or at least, directly sponsored) so i can personally balance and modify the forget out of it the way i see fit

bushi just go play minecraft damn

but minecraft doesn't have shotguns

Alas, what world isn't complete without shotguns?
Sounds fun, Bushi.

I'm thinking: Manage a real time strategy crossed with TDM, much like the mechanics of Savage 2 or the upcoming game from Interwave studios called Nuclear Dawn. One player orders, from a top down (Mebbe) viewpoint, players IN-game, rather, have to follow those orders and conquer the other team. Problem being: need a way for people to control an AI that follows, like, chat commands or something.

A large city RP with a controlled established government slipstreamed with strong RP elements and broken up into small districts to reduce lag. A strong level-headed admin force would run in the background as part of the government, free from corruption entirely. The city would be utilized for "real events" such as parades and whatnot. Users could create and sell property including apartments and crap. There would be a stock market.

Other players would host similar servers of their own cities, and on the forums people would start topics for their cities competing for tourism, hosting events (Blockoolympics, etc) and doing business deals.

I want Truce to host a freebuild in the kitchen with ALL of his private mods enabled.

And with no lag.

I'd just be happy if modders/modelers didn't think that every gun required hands all over it.
