Author Topic: Looking for an old racing game  (Read 468 times)

When I was a kid I used to play this racing game on the Nintendo 64, I don't remember the name. I believe all of the cars had faces and the graphics were really basic. There was a monster truck and a sort grand prix-ish car, I remember that. The game was pretty colorful and, like I said, the graphics were very unrealistic. I believe it was considered a kids games. The beginning of the race it would count off using the classic, "Boop... Boop... Boop... BEEEEEP" with green and red lights.

Anyone remember this? I can't find it anywhere, and I'm not even 100% sure it was for the N64.

No, but hearing the Blockhead sound was pretty weird.

Like I said, the game isn't realistic in the least. Most of the time there were no textures at all, just basic colors. The game was very light on the polys, with a lot of the shapes being pointy and crappy.

The only thing one can really use to identify it in your description is the fact the cars have eyes, All the rest covers a stuff load of car games.

You don't happen to have much else do you? Like perchance the look of the HUD or such?

The only other thing I really remember was that when you were playing two player, if one player stopped playing, the computer would take over their car.
