Two Garrys mod addon questions.

First,how do you install addons? The Gmod wiki is too confusing.
Second,what are some addons that are a must? Just give me like 5-10.

I think, something like that
if you have a mac, you have to figure it out.

PHX comes with Garry's Mod since like 4 updates ago.

I don't understand how you can't figure add-ons out. If the folder has an info.txt, it goes in the "add-ons" folder.

Mac is User/Library/Application Support/Steam/Steamapps/Yoursteamname/Garry's Mod/Garry's Mod.
Whew that was a lot from memory.
