I happen to think Blockland runs very well in Wine, or at least in comparison to other applications. Someone should create an addon that runs webcom_postserver() every 5 minutes or so. I doubt that that would work for everybody running Blockland in Wine, but it would be great if it worked for a good chunk of people. If I was Badspot (which is hard to imagine), I would not be interested in porting Blockland to Linux. Not only is the market share tiny, but two OS's are hard enough to keep up with. Three would be even more difficult. Do users of free software like GNU/Linux pay for games? Of course! You should rather use auth_Init_Server(); than webCom_postServer(); - Because the previous command also solves authentication-related issues, AND posts to master-server. |
