Why does everyone keep saying it is? just because it's dark and has zombies, doesn't make it sheer horror. Why is it so scare why the zombies are the ones constantly geting cut clean in half?

Okay, maybe "scary" isn't the right word, but it makes me loving jump D:

Or if you're on a laggy server.

Or maybe you don't have..
SURROUND SOUND SPEAKERRSSS, oh yeahhh, and hear the creeper coming up right behind you, suddenly SSSSsss... :c
Although, it doesn't really scare me until I turn around.

Well, anyway, I just got FO3 today. So I started playing, and found a Chinese Assault Rifle just laying  on this rock in The Wastelands. So I go to pick it up, and I do. I walk around the walk and keep moving straight. I started hearing running footsteps behind me and a demonic voice. I turn around, oh look, my first Feral Ghoul. Want to tal- OH NO WHY ARE YOU BITING ME AHHHHHHH *shotgun shots*
That scared the crap out of me. ;_;

I only have 1 rule and that is try your hardest NOT to post from Horror games. and with that said, let's begin.

Well, for me it was the first time I met a Deathclaw in Fallout 3. It just jumped off a cliff that was behind me and slashed me right in the back. I was only level 3.

Because you don't even know if you're going the right way. So many damn times I thought I was going to fall back down into areas I was already in and get engulfed in a zombie pile building from the growing zombie army behind me. :panda:

Joker Card:

Gears of war. Act 1, the tomb. I turn the corner go walking down the hallway and OUT OF loving NOWHERE THE BERSERKER BLASTS THROUGH THE loving WALL. I practically stuff myself.

Nother time

Playing Amnesia with my cousin john. We just got down the elevator part and we go walking. I start to head up the stairs and got spotted by a monster my heart raced as I ran back to the starting point. I take several boulders and block the way. I run into the corner to hide and wait for the hunt music to stop. All of a sudden I see the boulder move into view. at first I thought nothing of it. THEN THE loving MONSTER SHOWS UP AND ME AND MY COUSIN NEARLY stuff OUR PANTS. We sat there for 10 minutes trying not to break down and quit. We finally resumed game play and I was able to hide from the monster using pillars to shield me from his line of sight. Ive never been more scared in a videogame before.
