Haha, true. Plus, you can always show how much you love someone. It doesn't need to be on Valentines day. I think it's kind of stupid.

You're forgetting the part where all of these celebrations in which everyone spends money on each other actually derive from long-lasting traditions.
Just because the modern world commercialises everything these days doesn't mean they don't have any creditable history or reasoning.

Well we do it because the tv people do.Don't.Hate.But we also do it because we are brainwashed to do so.Just like all the other holidays.
