Improving building skills.

Deadzone:

Is anyone here good at interior/exterior of buildings, because I would really like to improve. Things that vary from a castle, all the way to a futuristic office complex.

Lessons would be wonderful, if anyone is willing to provide.

Flush535:

The best way I found how to learn to build was to just watch the more experienced players build. I did this for a long time when I first joined.

Prince N:

Use Ramp bricks more. Think outside of the box. Also, make it look fabulousssss

LoserHero:

If the fundamentals of drawing can be taught, so can the fundamentals of building.

Agreed. Instead of automatically throwing out the idea of helping someone, give it a try or let someone else.
One thing I know is required is patience. I know on some of my own, I get lazy and finish a build just to finish it, not to improve it. Another thing is that sometimes you'll be utterly disgusted with the turnout of your build, but you'll just have to go forward from there and try again or start something new. I also love looking at multiple styles of a certain object, such as a tree. I find multiple styles of trees, then take one and run with it or branch off on my own. I by no means consider myself a gifted builder, but there's my little advice and hopefully you can improve off of it.
I would also like to see others' advice or even just a picture of their style.
