I'm going to say this again. There isn't really a way for people to help you. We could show you how we do it sure, but you need to develop you own style of building. That is something we can't help you with. But you can take a look at other builds to see what is good and what isn't. Just don't steal them. --- Quote from: Ephialtes on February 14, 2011, 08:27:19 AM ---Edited by an offended Black person :'( --- End quote --- Noticing that Rotonado edited that, kinda shocked me. |

--- Quote from: Barnabas on February 14, 2011, 01:20:27 PM ---For some building takes a while to get the hang of it. Some people learn quickly. At first, imitation may work. Try having a look at builds with a critical eye, keep asking yourself "what looks good in this build?" "which bits would I have done differently?". Don't be afraid to experiment with ideas that you may be uncomfortable with. You don't have to finish any of your builds, you can make as many "sketch" builds as you like. The main thing is: don't think of a build as a chore. If you are bored with one of your project, put it away and do something else. Who knows, you may learn a lot more from your later stuff and when you revisit something you will probably get ideas of doing something more quickly. --- End quote --- Agreed. Try making simple builds and revising them, that's what I did for a while. Eventually I drew in some other styles, messed with them, and drew them in with my own to create whatever it is I have now. --- Quote from: Ephialtes on February 14, 2011, 08:27:19 AM ---Edited by an offended Black person :'( --- End quote --- Rotondo strikes again. <3 |

Use moar ramps. And remember, Spam is NOT defined as anything "Not on a Baseplate."... Its defined as: "Anything that uses more bricks than necessary". |
