It might be possible, however I can't be completely sure because I don't use GIMP. Also, I only use Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects for my graphic design/animation (for now, at least), so there's no need to get the CS5 Master Collection. Additionally, as I've said in the second post on this page, student pricing for Adobe software is greatly reduced from the normal price; I bought the CS5 Production Premium, which is more than I need right now, for the student price of $500, the normal price is $1700.

What are the requirements for student versions of the software?

That opening has very bad sound effects, it's not really what they are of, it's the actual quality and the fact that you could've easily edited them to make them sound better (reverb; delay, for smoothness)

You have to be a middle school, high school, or college student.

Yes, I'm aware of that, however at the time I didn't have the knowledge to do that and I currently can't be bothered to redo it as it was merely an animation test.

Clearly.

Ah.
And does it have to be IN the school?
Or can I get just for my own time.

Ime guessing you talking about the student discount on the adobe products?

Basically you purchase an educational version of the porduct, inside the box it comes with a code and instucitons.
To cut it short, it has a link to a webage where you type in your educational establishment and proof that you are inlisted there (For info on what can be sent see here  And here
After adobe receive your proof of educational status it can take them 2-5 business days to get back to you.
They then send you a licence key to type into photoshop (or whatever product) which unlocks it on your computer to use at any time.

Hope this helped.
