There really isn't a completely easy way to do it. I always delete them by hand.
And also, Demian, he can use whatever he wants to model, there is no need to provoke a modeling problem debate yet again.

yeah, i exported a model from LeoCAD to .3ds then imported it into Milkshape and i figured out that half the model had the faces reversed, mostly on round pieces

Inverted faces =/= "backfaces" or "double faces/sided" See if there is an option to recalculate normals or invert normals. I assume some of the faces on your model are pure black? That means the normals are inverted on those faces.

Select the faces and press control+shift+f
Sorry, I got confused and thought you wanted something else.
Also, remember to refresh textures often while doing this.
