Author Topic: A question about months  (Read 966 times)

So, we would say that a month from today is March 17th, 2011, right? What would someone say is a month from January 30th?

march first or second?

A month from January 30th. Duh.

I guess if you take a month as an average of about 27 1/2 days, then a month from January 30th would be February 26th.

But then again, that ignores the idea that a Month from now is just the same date, but in the month ahead.
Which means you can't consider a month away, to simply be the same date as now, plus a month.
Since months have different lengths, it makes it impossible. February in particular.

Why do I have a headache now.
