Crysis 2

Optimized doesn't mean it will look worse.
For example. I can run Just Cause 2 at 120 FPS, while GTA IV at 50-70.
Just Cause 2 has a map that is MUCH large than IV, and yet it gets a better frame rate. It was well optimized, while GTA IV wasn't.
Same can apply with Crysis 2.

Sorry for bump, but...

I think "efficiency" is a better term here.
In my opinion, Crysis 2 looks better than Crysis 1. It's loads more efficient at rendering too, I can play the first on highest at 30 FPS, and the second on highest at a constant 60 FPS. Explosions are also much easier for the GPU in the second one. Levels load way faster as well.

I heard Crysis2 sucked balls.
Like the PC was a stuffty console port with no detailed graphics options, buggy multiplayer, and a very meh single player.

If your computer is good enough you don't even need to worry about detailed graphics options really. It's much easier to run the game at highest on a single GPU, but yeah I get what you mean.
Multiplayer isn't really that buggy, for me anyway. I'm having fun on it, only the demo's release was really stuff for me because of their username/account problems.
Singleplayer is pretty fun. I'm still playing it, though, and I love it.

Bump.
Finished singleplayer campaign a few hours ago. Holy stuff it is amazing all throughout.
Multiplayer is now all mine :)
