you can have someone arrested for just stepping foot on your lawn. granted tresspassing requires you to have told him to leave at least once and he ignored.
but if it was made clear people of his views aren't welcome. it can be tresspassing. a cop would cuff your ass and toss you into a car just the same.

people dont think its a big deal but being unwanted on private ground is very serious. you will not be treated well.

The guy was being a richard, and what he got was legal and I have no problem with it, but I think they should have just thrown the guy out, told him not to come back and left it at that. A jailing and (apparently) a beating is a bit far in my opinion.

It's kind of a weird situation. I mean, if someone turned around when I was talking I wouldn't like it, but on the other hand I wouldn't say anything stupid, so it wouldn't make any sense that someone did that in the first place, unless it's a stupid person in which case nobody really cares.

it didnt have to be clear if it was JUST a peacefull protest or not.

you cant cause disturbances around politicians these days. people shoot and blow stuff up.
of course they will pounce on a guy for doing nothing.

there is a proper way to protest. this is not.

Assassinating public figures, what a new concept! It totally didn't happen before recent years so we should all live in total fear of suicidal religious zealots. I mean, that's not what they want or anything, totally not the goal of terrorism to instill terror in a society.

there is no waiting for the context of a person disturbing your speech. you take them out.

he was breaking the law. by protesting on private ground when he wasn't welcome.

to save face im sure they just let him go the next day. but i would have loving sued his ass.
