The only update i've seen is the profile, status and URL icons taken away from underneath the username/avatar(?)

I think this is relevant to this topic. Four years ago, at exactly this time, own to the minute, I bought Blockland. That means it was today in 2007 that Badspot opened key registration to the beta testers, sort of a neat coincidence.
