Author Topic: Monitor is acting odd.  (Read 1886 times)

Thank you sir!
Well thats what happened to my brothers monitor. He has a creaky table and a monitor for his 360. It started shaking so he called tech support and thats what they told us.

is it a CRT monitor or flatscreen?

Also what is bolded. :o
It, in a sense, resets your monitor's magnetism. Check the bottom part of the main... What would you call it... Frame of the monitor. There should be some buttons there or a menu button. I've got a row of buttons on the bottom, but my sister's got a menu scroller on hers.

If you can, take a picture of it and post it here so I can see.

EDIT: Also, if possible, get a video of it and upload somewhere with a link so I can see what you're talking about.

hey atleast you dont have my monitor its a old Viewpanel VPA150 and it SUCKS!

I've only ever heard of that happening when you first turn on older monitors, and it shakes and goes WOLOLOL and then you can continue on your way.

Post a picture of the static thing? Do you know how impossible that would be?

A video also wouldn't work since when you take a picture of a monitor's display it shows up odd on the product.

Ill look here in a while. On my phone now.

I didn't say a picture of it, a video. And it only shows up funny because videos show the monitor's refreshing at a slower pace (i.e 75Hz will show up at ~2Hz on a video due to framerate from what I can tell). I said picture for the bottom part of your monitor so I might be able to direct you to the degauss option.

my classroom has 3 emacs, and whenever you turn one on the other two get shaky screens for a few seconds. its weird. Happens in every classroom with CRTs.

I have a brightness up, down, menu and power button and none others anywhere on the monitor.
