I got a new PC for Christmas, (yes I know that was a while ago) I'm wondering what the specs for hosting a 32 player dedicated server are. Here are my specs: --- Code: ---Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-b Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 760 @ 2.80GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.8GHz Memory: 16384MB RAM Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 --- End code --- I also have Virtual PC, and was wondering if i could host a dedicated server off my virtual machine. Here are it's specs: --- Code: ---Operating System: Windows XP Professional SP3 Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 760 @ 2.80GHz Memory: 2048MB RAM --- End code --- Thanks |

Definitely the first. It has over 4x the power. |

Why would you need to host a dedicated off a Virtual Machine? Also it doesn't matter how good your computer is if your internet can't handle the bandwidth. I think Torque uses a whole lot of bandwidth, but you will need a pretty good upload speed to handle 32 players. |

They also provide Nebo School District's internet. |
