I know how to actually do it, but I wasn't sure about the joints, jeez.

I CANT SEPERATE MY ANIMATIONS INS MILKSHAPE  D:

I know, Im not given the option to separate the animations from the model in the exporting dialogue.



Is that a more or less recent version of the exporter than the one in that guide?

I never checked. Now I feel stupid. Im chech really quick.

Use the DTS Plus Exporter, not the game one. It's an honest mistake, no worries.

Is t_root.dsq standstill of the player? Or turret?

Figured that out.

Are the mesh LODs matching (assuming this is a vehicle, use 16 and col-1)?
You should also be using DTS Plus, as TGE Exporter is a rather poor exporter in comparison.
