Do real gamers care about graphics?

yes yes I know, but it's only utilizing 16 squares on most textures to appear like the classic games of the early 90s

my opinion of graphics is graphics that fit the style and feel and theme of a game
like say blockland you can tell the default vehicles from most add-on vehicles cause they don't fit as well as the default, same as with TF2 you wouldn't want tf2 to be realistic and not cartoony would you? No of course not cause it would not fit the theme of the weapons and characters
basically what I'm saying is graphics should fit the scheme of what the game is going for

no, where the forget did you get that from
he's saying if a game has good gameplay but the graphics seriously hurt your eyes it's not going to be fun, and if a game has climaxic graphics but the gameplay makes you slap babies it's not going to be fun. all you loving "gamers" need to get off your thrones and realize that all parts of a game contribute to the overall fun.

if so then why does he say 8bit graphics and 3d together don't look good "AT ALL"
also it's practically impossible to have a 3d 8bit game by todays definition of '3d'

In order to have fun gaming you have to "forget about reality" and become focused into the game. I'm not saying it has to be realistic, I am saying that the graphics have to be believable so you are absorbed into the game.

If I wanted my games to look like 800x600 resolution I would play them in 800x600.
