Flubbman just made a topic just like this

Flying Ace:

first you need to define good graphics cause I see people arguing about agreeing somewhat in the other thread, are good graphics determined by real life artifacts or by 'does the game look good'

if so practically every game you like probably fits the second choice

so would you put world of goo on the same scale as say Crysis or halo or Call of duty or battlefield? ( just to name a few titles that are sadly over popular"

maybe it depends on what you think good graphics are. Is blockland as real as real life legos? No but that's the point it isn't supposed to be
so yes they are both important but they both have to work together to a common goal what the game is trying to achieve theme wise not 'how would this behave in real life' cause we don't want that most of the time

but if I can only have one I'd choose gameplay cause that's why we play games isn't it to play them if all they do is look good and you cant do anything in them all they are good for is just that a picture or video or a tech demo

You know what? We need a game that's solely based on altering the graphics and objects to win.

That would be weird.
