I'm willing to bet that if it were just some random person who made an "I quit" post then nobody would give a forget when they came back, but because a Furry did it, they all flip out and go "Oh no they should get rebanned 'cause, uhh, they said they quit! Yeah that's it, no anti-Furry bias whatsoever!"
The worst I think Pew did was using some dirty image for an avatar. It was cropped down to the face alone, but you could still tell it was researchographic. At most, I would take away avatar usage for the user, but that's only if they were persistant when many users openly complain about it, which Pew was.
