Tips for not sucking at CoD: Black Ops?

After looking at my kill/death ratio (1900 kills/2100 deaths!) I realized that I need to suck less.
So, as my first idea is to ask you guys. My requirements for tips are:
1. I prefer these tips be geared towards the Famas/AK47/Commando with ACOG scopes/Red Dot sights.
2. No sniper rifles.
3. I prefer they be useful with my perks (Ghost Pro, Sleight Of Hand Pro and Marathon).
4. No "Stop playing Black Ops"

one tip i can give you is to use warlord commando red dot/acog/reflex sight and dual mags as i use that and it works very well

I don't like ghost at all. No real point. Also, I would go with Steady Aim, also try hacker. And maybe try dual mac 11s for the funzies.
