how would you fold your town in half? ._.
By use of imagination.

Its like loving magic, only you don't get burned at the stack for using it.

Its that kind of attitude that will make you struggle when you get to dream control. ;D

Its a PDF, not a text document.

The first post does provide a link to a PDF reader. If you can't be bothered to read the entire OP, don't bother trying for the PDF.  :cookieMonster:

Is there a way to influence the setting of a dream before actually going to sleep?

You could visualize where you want to be. This works if you do things like DEILD because it takes only moments to fall asleep.

Sleep time again.  Hoping for another lucid dream tonight.

Also, question.  Sheath, how many lucid dreams do you have a week?

I realized a while ago that I've been lucid dreaming most of my life. It's just so easy to do half the things because I've been doing it for so long.

I've been doing it for fun for a year now, so I don't really have to try too hard (you'll end up with the same ability as you continue).

On a crap week I can see one to two lucids, often by accident and I don't utilize them. On a good week, I can get lucid once every night or two.

Neat, thanks.

Ok so I had a lucid dream. First thing I did was go up to my little brother and I was all like "Dude, this is a dream and you're not real and I can do whatever I want" or something. He replied by saying "SFFDGGTVGRGGBDGRGG" So I'm not talking to him again. Second thing I did was to attempt to pull an object out of my pocket, I did not think clearly about what I wanted to pull out of my pocket. I ended up pulling out lint. Yeah. Lint. After this, for some reason I made my dream self close his eyes, upon doing this I could still see around my dream world. After having my dream self "close" his eyes, I tried to make him open them. This action had the adverse effect of waking me up.

While this seems like a lame first lucid dream, it is a lucid dream nevertheless.

Please discuss and, if possible, explain the eyes phenomenon. kthnx.

Eyes are traitorous little punks and if they close for whatever reason in a dream, and you open them, you wake up.

forget. I'll keep this in mind from now on.

Well, it also happens to me. Its meant to be based on person, like for instance, only some have that problem. I have it, and its basically like when you lucid dream, you do what you do in the lucid dream except for the inhuman and love stuff. For instance I woke up with blood on my face and a shattered window.
