What is Project Blackout?

Project Blackout is a MMOFPS developed by Zepetto, a South Korean company.

Story

Project Blackout takes place in Korogese, a country that has risen to the status of global power at a meteoric rate. It was taken over by the massive corporations and merchants that grew out of its success. The government now seeks to disarm the general populace with the promise of laws to protect the innocent. But, not all are so willing to accept this new form of peace…


Game Modes

There are 5 game modes and 19 stages (There are more than two modes available for some stages).


Death Match Mode:
The winning condition can be set for 1) killing a certain number of enemy characters 2) Fight the foe during a certain time and come up with better result.

Explosion Mission:
Set up a bomb in designated areas to explode while the enemy is trying to stop the bomb from going off, vice versa.

Destroy Mission
Destroy the target object in the enemy’s area.

Annihilation Mode
“Completely wipe out” the opponent team. Dead characters do not get respawned before the round ends.

Challenge Mode
Fend off incoming “Artificial Intelligent” characters.

This being a game with a surprisingly large comunity, some customization is allowed. Weapons can be bought from the shop with either in-game currency, or credits, which are bought with money. Characters can also be customized, but not entirely.
