Why not place it over different areas? Like West USA, Canada, Mexico, France, Italy, Great Britan, etc?

Guys fallout will always be set in america nothing else. That's the whole point of the series to see what happened to america and read what they think happened to the other countries.

Fallout 1, 2, 3 and new vegas are set in the west usa. I hope you mean east.
