"realism" is ruining games. They're not supposed to be realistic, they're supposed to be fun, unless it's a simulation of course..
Fredulus:
steps for good sniping
1. go prone
2. pull out sniper
3. set up bipod
4. look through scope
5. find target
6. hold breath for a second (otherwise extremely inaccurate)
7. fire really loud shot, maybe have the bullet leave a trail so people can see you easily
8. take a few seconds to catch your breath (really bad accuracy)
9. ready to hold breath/fire again
idk, something like that.

I hate it how on some games (COD) You can sit 2 feet away from a guy, shoot him in the head, wait 10 sec, shoot him again, repeat for an hour.

Someone needs to make a modern version of Planetside, that's where a sniper rifle would actually be useful.
