Hmm...not quite sure, I do agree that it does need character though, without something it will look extremely bland.

I recommend adding..I just got an idea, since the gun still lacks some sort of aiming mechanism, why not think of some special shape for it? (Iron sight)

Hmm, maybe I could fit a smiley in there as the iron-sight in a scope or something.

You wouldn't notice it if you were holding it anyways, it's the wrong angle for it.
