Intel Duel Core vs Intel i7 Core?

Yes, if your CPU can't keep up RAM usually takes over, same goes for if you don't have enough RAM your CPU will do most of the work. Having 6GB's of RAM is good for the CPU. Though when and if possible I recommend upgrading your CPU to something Quad, you'll love how much the computer will improve if you do.

The intel dual core processors are becoming obsolete now, and probably have a slower clock speed too. It's still working fine for my gaming though.

You have no idea how computers work. RAM and Processor do completely different job's they don't "do each others work". Yes, you will be better off with more RAM if you have a worse processor, but more RAM won't make up for the slowness of you CPU.

Apple has been making 2 processor computers for a while now, and I'm sure many other companies have. There are probably motherboards with 2 processor slots.
