Importing Sprites to Flash?

Whenever I try to import sprites to flash, they loose alot of quality. I tried both JPEG and PNG files, and neither worked.


So like questions :

How 2 add alpha transparency to sprite sheet in paint.net

Are there any plugins for flash 8 that let me import sprites without a loss of quality?

Am i doing it wrong?

Are you actually importing them or do you just move the file into your Flash program?
Also try and play around with the options, maybe you'll find something there.

However I tried playing around with the Options and I searched Newgrounds and other various flash oriented sites and I did not find anything to help
