The reason of course is because the only people who deserve to have their freedoms, happiness, and in extreme cases, their lives taken away are the ones who think they can do the same to innocents. Without crime/sin, I believe there would be no conflict and no hatred. Almost every problem would be solved, and Humanity could focus together to cure disease and be rid of famine and drought.
