No it is not, because I have reversed them before and it didnt change a thing in-game.

How can that be true, when the translucency worked perfectly on this model? (the scope)

--- Quote from: Demian on March 21, 2011, 10:34:06 AM ---never have doublesided on.

Can you tell me why, perhaps? -_-

Don't know why it doesn't work, but in that image there are reversed normals. That is what it looks like.

With the "no way around it" I meant that I am 100% sure that the normals are reversed.

I am not entirely sure how much it affects the performance if at all, but I've heard it increases the render time for that model. Since there are faces inside the model that the game needs to render but you will never see them unless you specifically go inside the model.

I know what it looks like; that was the first thing I checked. But Ive tried reversing them several times and it didnt work... Would append/linking the trans mesh from my rifle and joining the two meshes maybe help?

I used single faces for a few parts of the model. Plus, ALL weapons are double-sided rendering. At least that I have seen.

I will tommorow.

I also got a vehicle with trans working just a couple minutes ago, no issues. So I know it's the model; somehow at least...
