Every stud is one point. A 1x2 is one stud wide by two studs long. The 1x2 bricks in the middle don't stretch all the way to the end of the second stud, it looks like 0.15 less than 2, hence 1x1.85, and the spacer bricks aren't even a full stud, hence 1x0.15
