there is no god because if there was a god the world would be forgeted by his immaturity

seriously, if you were god you would just start making your people go batstuff crazy, wouldn't you?

itt: god is a reel cul guy he fights lucifers and dosent afraid of anything

threads derail all the time
however a simple joke in a religious thread will hardly imbalance the incoming rage of every god based religious person in OT
and yet you fly off the handle and report something needlessly

just give a *huff* irl
Fly off the handle?
You act as if I made a drama.
I report things I think break rules. I felt it broke rules.

Honestly, I think you are just worried you'll get banned even if it isn't likely.

Nope. I wouldn't.

My Catholic school friends are all gigantic biblecigarettes.  There is a fad going around now that if you love God, you post a status about how nothing can change your love for the lord!

Also, as soon as I actually started learning about God I lost faith.  Kinda sad if you ask me.

Like I just finished watching "The Book of Eli" and I couldn't help admire and envy his faith. I want God back, but not so bad to believe something that isn't true. Then I wondered, "Maybe he's there, I'm just not opening my eyes. But then again maybe he's a figment of my imagination. So that leaves the question...

Is it true or not? This question will drive me insane for the rest of my life.

I honestly don't think about god that much because it doesn't affect my day to day life. Sometimes I wonder if god is an excuse for being lazy. It's like saying "I wanted a new bike so I prayed to god for it."

true but what if it's true? I would certainly like to know

God, according to christianity, doesn't fulfill our wants, solely our needs.
Also, he isn't an excuse for being lazy, you still have to work and live your life.

There is no way to prove it is true.

Allow me to pose a question.
If the bible isn't true, then isn't the bible the longest running lie in history?

People bash atheism, thinking it's silly that we all just came from nothing. Well the answer is, we did come from something, we came from chemical reactions from elements that have always existed.

Anyway, my answer to them saying we all came from nothing is as follows:

Okay, bash my "religion". But is yours any better? You say you believe in a man who created everything. Everything that exists today he created for a reason, and he controls this all. Then how is it we all make conscious decisions every day and make our own future? And the ultimate question is, if god created everything, who created god?

Seriously, stubborn people that get sucked so far down the religion toilet make me rage. The close-mindedness is painful to face.

Homeless people isn't exactly fulfilling needs.

No, it's the worlds most popular fiction novel, and all those people that follow it to live their life are super gullible.

I'm not talking about any said religion. I want to know about said deity no matter what it is.
