Registering a CD key to download it from EA?

Wait, what? Torrents are not like .zip files. It's a Peer2Peer connection, meaning there has to be others with the files already downloaded and they have to be seeding for anyone to download it. The torrents tell you who to connect to and what to download so you can get the files. If there is no one seeding, then you cannot download it.

Yes, I think that would be legal. Sharing it, however isn't, so you can't use torrents or any other P2P-method.
Circumventing the DRM is also illegal.
