Is there a way I can remotely control one computer from another?
Righteous One:
You won't be able to play games from one computer on another. The refresh rate of even high end ones is limited to like 10fps not to mention the horrible lag. Realvnc would be a good one but not practical at all for what you are trying to do.
Nickelob Ultra:
Use Hamachi, and use Windows' built in Remote Desktop Connection.
However: This tool is only useful for remotely accessing or viewing information or files. You cannot play games or do anything that would consume the bandwidth too much because for one all that you see is still being rendered locally on your computer.
If you want to play games over the internet via streaming, look into OnLive.
Kearn:
if it's really necessary you could download the files on your computer in "temp" or something and move them via remote access to the computer you'll be on, then it'll be installed and you won't have to worry about registry crap
brickybob:
For slow paced games, like runescape, I'd use VNC.
For fast paced games, I'd just use Onlive.

Don't expect to play games threw it.
