Hitting '1' every time you open the brick selection menu?

I don't do this, but i never leave my ghost brick active, i always clear it when i'm done building something

i always clear my ghostbrick
i also quickly switch from the brick placing thing to my wrench, and i pop out and put my wrench back very fast

and i never leave the paintcan out

I just mash the general area of 1234 to open my brick inv.

I haven't actually used the brick inventory for a long time, I find the brick in the menu and right click it to go directly to placing it.

I'm pretty sure he means the brick menu, the 1 key opening the first group of favorites which he leaves default.
