On client join function?

i'm new to scripting and i was going to create a mod (like Xalo's) that greet's people when they get on the server.
this includes a command to turn off and on the mod and i was wondering if there's a function like onclientjoin.

i don't know his is a private add-on that just says hi, (name) i'm just using it to practice.
