I think the point being, stuff back then was funnier and more entertaining than stuff now. Now it's just getting old, and annoying.

See with trainman and people like him, it was at least entertaining a little bit how stupid they were, but people like that now are just shat upon then they get banned. It's boring, and stupid, and it's not as good as before. (drama stuff)

As far as controversy goes, same thing applies. We do still have the same problems though, Becca = Aeris? Kinda, more direct with Aeris. I'm pretty sure Vertzer was more recent than that, but I do remember that thread, the one that Otis posted causing a stuffstorm of people/kids going "OMGWTFBBQ"

Eh, the only thing good about v9 was all the hype on its release. The community got rapidly diluted by younger children.
