According to Wedge, the only people who would use BC/any alternative mod manager would be those who are banned from RTB., therefore having an alternative wouldn't cause any damage. If people start using an alternative mod manager out of curiosity, but realise noone posts content, they will switch back. This means having free competition would be risk-free. |

I don't care what Ephi does regarding matters within his service. If he wants to force users to distribute add-ons with pictures of his face stamped all over them, or make every add-on pink with no flat shading, I don't care. My point is Ephi uses his position and his grasp on Blockland, and takes it beyond RTB. He went outside of both of his roles and targeted a website offsite. And then with a bit of smooth talking he thinks all the rest of us won't notice this was an intentional and motivated action. I'm not discussing this to come up with a great resolution so we can all hug each other and kiss ass once again. I'm just saying Ephi has a pretty twisted way of handling things now days, and I truly believe this is because he is letting the power of RTB and his position at the forums get to his head just a little. I don't remember Ephi acting the way he has recently when he first released the retail edition of RTB. And as I said before, you can go with the negligent "hes an admin deal with it" logic, but that gets nobody anywhere. If people are going to bitch about matters like discussed in the OP, any service should be discussed indepth and the creators should listen, whether you or they like it or not. And I'm sorry Boltster, but for someone who only managed to claw their way back onto the forums with the hordes of other people who used the automated system, you sure aren't being humble about it. Like many before you, you have come to a topic and focused on a trivial side point for an opportunity to bitch. If you want to join the ACTUAL conversation and matter thats being discussed here, please do return when you have something appropriate to say. Its no coincidence you have been whoring my posts recently. |
