In more sense of logic, you can do those without joining a game: (Bolded)
Going to Freebuilds and build
Chilling with my buddys
Making a game and host it
Making add-ons
Joining games
Hosting random stuff (Not games or freebuilds)
Being bored
Only (almost only) on forums

I know, those three are the only ones, though, so it seems silly to even have it as an option.
