Creating A Clan

Hello, Forumers (See what i did thar?)
Recently, I have started throwing around the idea of creating a clan, but I have a few questions first.
* What exactly do I need to get started?
* Should I get started on a clan in-game, get a few members, then post on the forum
* What should the clan be about?
* If I do get started on a clan, what should I avoid?Thanks in advance!

But thats like saying there are to many guilds in WoW. The people need variety!

dont make a clan till you already have like 6 members. close friends you already play with. then bam, you are populated and its not instantly pathetic.
group project can start from day 1, instead of begging people to join and falling off the top page.

there are too many people in that game, and there sure as hell are too many guilds.
