Is gameboy emulation okay?

Pray tell how you came to such a conclusion.

Damn NASA and their new classifications.

I think it would make sense for Pluto to be a planet, but I know nothing about planets or how to classify them so I'm just going to agree with NASA's word :(

I believe you have the wrong forum - the one you appear to belong to is that other block-based game's forum.

You had the option to reply with out throwing an insult back, you know. I believe that's called "being the better man" .. or woman, whatever the hell you say you are.
It wasn't a debate .. somebody (myself and others) had presented facts and you countered with opinion. That's like saying Pluto is a planet because you think it is... it's not a planet, though. (We've actually had someone here who thought that - they weren't very bright.)

Pluto was a planet at one point of time.
But really, that's a harsh way of putting it. I was saying as long as you buy it I see nothing wrong with testing it, not telling people that a rock in space is actually a planet.
And yes, I did insult you. Be fair, you deserved it. Please notice that was the only insult I pulled.

All unauthorized distribution is copyright infringement, so unless Nintendo is running the site themselves (which they're not), it's not legal. It might also be DRM circumvention, which might break the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (with the exemptions in the act itself which I am not familiar with, and the exemptions the Library of Congress made within the last year or so).
Also Lugnut, allow me to direct you to this post which will address all of your questions. Short answer is post all you want on this forum about emulation, just don't talk about where you got your roms or make some kind of vague "arrrrrgh, i'm a pirate" comment.

I didn't see anything about ripping it yourself on that post. Is it legal, or not?

It is no longer a planet, so people who say it is would be wrong - but this is not about some hunk of rock in space so I'll leave it at that.

"Testing it" would, again, be .. playing a demo. Acquiring the full game for free isn't testing it, it's stealing it.
I don't see anything harsh about that.

In my eyes this is the equivalent of an 8 year old screaming "he started it!". Not meaning to call you an 8 year old, just saying.
