my tf2 is broken, won't start up, just closes after valve logo

what do, I want to play tf2 damn it.
It starts up, but when the valve logo appears, it plays, then closes the game no errors or anything.

Did you recently make any hardware changes, or updated drivers?

It fixed, I had to restart steam and my computer.
