I'm confused, I never downloaded a .jar to begin with.
You don't download a .jar, you download an .exe.
That's what I've been saying.

But you're telling me not to click the .jar when I don't even have one.

The .exe installs the .jar, but you always use the .exe even though you have a .jar.

How do I find out if this is the .jar or not? I can't find any implication saying it is/is not.

There should be a .jar file with the java logo on it.

The thing you downloaded, the .exe, is all you need to run.
Forget the .jar, it's useless until you have had the .exe install it.
