He build a whole chat system already. Anyway, why would you want IRC? This is better than IRC. That's like saying "I know you built me a master bathroom, but can you make an alcove and jam my old port-a-potty in it?" |

I won't be re-including the IRC. Eventually RTB Connect will be able to do private messaging from public rooms and then IRC will be entirely redundant. |

Just saying. |

At some point in the very far future I may document the protocol and add a new authentication method to login by password, so someone could potentially write an external client or even just a pidgin plugin or something like that. I'm sure someone will create an add-on to re-add IRC anyway so I wouldn't worry about not getting IRC ever again, it just won't be provided by RTB. |
