They'll probably forget it up and reveal "HEY, HERE'S A COOL GIMMICK! WE'VE ADDED A NEW SUPER WURcigarette MODE/NEW FRIENDS/PARTY MODE/RACING MODE/TO IT!"
Also, i grew up with the old sonic games, but in like 1998-1999 when my playgroup didn't actually have a saturn or Nintendo 64, they had a mega drive and a SNES

I'm excited now. It's simple game, there is no addition of weird creatures as powerups and whatnot.
The ability to choose between the two styles is also interesting.
